I have a question for you…seek and ye shall receive…right?
If I don’t ask, I will never know.
But first,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It’s right around the corner.
What are your goals for 2014?
One of my goals for 2014 is to work on “receiving” better.
I think many of us could use some help with this.
I see it in my practice all the time.
Partners don’t believe each other when they share their fondness for each other, and they have a hard time taking in compliments.
Similarly, people have a hard time asking for help. Me Too!
But today I’m writing again, asking for your help!
How’s that for achieving my goals early? (For those of you who didn’t catch my blog last week, I just asked for your help with another project I’m working on. By the way, it’s not too late to offer your help in exchange for a few goodies from me, just click here to read that post and learn more.)
I guess I don’t need help with the compliments, since I’m feeling so great about myself achieving my goals early 🙂
Here’s the deal…who wants to help me?
I recently signed a contract agreeing to be the About.com Expert in Mental Health.
I’m very excited about this opportunity, but to be honest, a little overwhelmed as well!
I am inheriting this site and haven’t written much for it yet, but I’m hoping you can help me.
Here’s what I’m asking:
Please let me know in the comments section below what you think would be helpful for me to cover on the Mental Health site at About.com.
I’ve already written a few things on relationships:
For example:
A little bit about Emotionally Focused Therapy
A story on Sue Johnson’s recent study about how healthy relationships can change your brain
And here are some tips to not only survive them, but thrive during the holidays.
But the site is for all of mental health.
It’s a pretty large topic!
So please let me know what’s most pressing to you!
Leave your comments below!
If you check out the site, please know that I inherited it from another expert, so I didn’t write most of the content.
I hope to build it up and make it fantastic soon, and I could really use your help with that!
THANK YOU!
I’ve already asked for help from you twice and it’s not even 2014 yet.
Cheers to making 2014 our best yet, and cheers to your best relationship,

How about Writing about Anxiety?
Jenev Caddell says
Yes! Great idea, as anxiety is all too common, in relationships and otherwise. Thank you so much for that suggestion. And I’m sorry to just be replying now, somehow I didn’t see this comment until this minute!
Jenev Caddell says
Ok…here’s my first post on anxiety – probably the first of many. Thanks again for the suggestion!
